Gold and ochre wash across the canvas, words emerging from the layers — some bold and front-facing, some half-dissolved into shadow, some only visible if you're paying attention. That's intentional. The ones you can't quite read are the ones still becoming.

The Whole List is for the individual who doesn't pick one intention and abandon the rest. You hold all of it. The reaching and the breathing. The climbing and the blooming. The trying and the being.

At 20 x 20, it's intimate. Something you put where you'll see it every morning and find a different word looking back at you.

I found working with stencils very liberating. And, I just love this stencil. It represents so many things I strive for. I decided to mute them a tad with the color choices. For me, it’s the becoming, the destination, the struggles that sit softly behind these words are the journey. Hope you enjoy!
