Layers the way years stack — earth at the base, storm in the middle, gold breaking through at the top like it was always there waiting. A single vertical mark stands quietly on the left, still and certain in the middle of everything shifting. This is a painting about perspective earned, not given.
One of my favorites, it's compact but has a lot of emotional depth. It's the moody morning or late evening when the sun hits just right and you get the golden glow. I actually used gold oil stick that is reflective and highlights those special moments.
