This one was built with coffee.
Not as a gimmick — as a material. Coffee gives a transparent, layered brown that no tube of paint can match, and it bleeds through everything unless it's sealed. So every layer became a decision: let these colors run together, or let them land on their own. Golds and ochres pool against charcoal. Warm browns hold the center. And more white space than usual breathes through the whole surface, because the painting asked for room and got it.
Look closely and there's a small beige patch in the lower left — quiet, almost overlooked, but it stays. It needed to be seen, so it was.
Room to Breathe is for the woman who has stopped believing that more is always better. Who has learned that the empty space is part of the composition, not a failure to fill it. Who knows that the quiet, small parts of a life — and of a self — deserve to be seen and heard too, even when they don't shout.
Original, one-of-a-kind. When it finds its collector, that's it.
