Circling Back - Original Abstract Mixed Media Painting | Fire Series

Bold magentas, burning oranges, deep purples, and acid yellows collide across the canvas — not fighting each other, but negotiating. White oil stick loops ride the surface, pulling certain moments forward, refusing to let them disappear into the layers beneath.

This is not a painting about having figured it out.

It's about the individual who stopped waiting until they did. Who leaned into the becoming — unapologetically, at full scale — and made something from the circling itself.

Still Circling is for the individual who knows the mid-journey and has decided that's not a reason to shrink. The searching is the point. The work is the proof.

This is my largest painting to date. To say I was originally intimidated- nah, the canvas only sat for over a year. Just staring at me, gently whispering you can do this. It wanted to be bold and hopeful. Full of energy, to be noticed.  I think she fulfills that promise!
